>>>>>[Would be interesting to see how the "Other Half" lives, Mr. Iceblade.  I'm in.  We'll have to work out exactly how you want me to operate, so I can prepare properly and try to get my gear there, and into, and out of, the proper country of Denver.  Be a bit much to try and bring everything in and out.  I also promise not to do the stereotypical "Ork Shadowrunner" thing and trash a hotel room to "Stick it to the man" as seen too often on the 'Trids.  (Honestly, why are Orks always the violent-prone knuckledraggers on those shows?  They even have the occasional educated and well-spoken troll, but never an ork?).

As for Dragons, as long as they're not involved with the 'run in any way, that might be nice to see.  "Never cut a deal with a dragon" after all.]<<<<<

>>>>>[Loyalty is the kind of thing that'll get you killed. Being smart and professional is the way to go, loyal only to yourself. Keep your word at all times, always deliver and never screw up. Work for as many AAA or government agencies as you want but do your homework and be careful not to take too many jobs against one of your own regular employers. Or if you're mad enough, play them against each other. And above all, make yourself useful and as indispensable as possible to as many people as you can. And the more powerful the better. That's being smart and professional and that's how I roll. That philosophy kept me alive and rich so far. No need to give examples, but taking bullets for someone else your not paid to, is not the best way to one day see retirement.]<<<<<

>>>>>[Well, how we get in will depend on what your fake SIN looks like. Easiest way would be to simply fly in from Sea-Tac. If your SIN won't pass airport security, we'll take a boat to LA, and take the train to Santa Fe and then on to Denver. Either way, we'll get some good tourist visas, which should be enough to get us through the border crossings, provided you weren't planning on bringing anything too crazy. A Predator, and some armored clothing will be fine. The line is going to be that I'm an exiled Tir count, and you're my bodyguard.

I've got someone in-city that will get us a couple tri-ox shots, so we can still do things like run for our lives, if we got to, without worrying about the thin air. But that shouldn't be on the agenda. We will be doing some border crossings, so keeping all the gear light and legal is a good idea.

And if dragons get involved in the run itself, we'll be meeting Ghostwalker because we've been accused of espionage. So yes, let's try to avoid that. But Perianwyr makes an appearance at Weekday Eclipse every so often, and the pixie group Ar Canan will be playing, so he might decide to show up.]<<<<<

>>>>>[ Mmm...Ghostwalker. Now there's one dragon I'd walk a mile to avoid. Frankly, I'd rather deal with Lofwyr...if I should ever have to. Good luck in Denver, you two!

And welcome to all the new faces.

Now...I think I will take time to go look in on Money. He should have started showing signs of recovery by now...]<<<<<

>>>>>[If I had to cut a deal with a dragon, I'd go with Hestaby, or Schwartzkopf, though for different reasons. Hestaby because my sister was one of her Paladins, and Schwartzkopf because he's one of the few dragons that does't mind teaching metahumans their tricks. Of course, you should never trust a dragon further than you can throw them. Some are just less likely to eat you in a fit of pique than others.

Let us know how Money's doing, Madre. If there's any sign of memory loss, be sure to tell him he owes me a case of beer.

What? Don't tell me you weren't thinking the same thing.]<<<<<

And, yes, please Ms. Madrecita, let use know how Mr. Money is.  I hate to say it but the family has a pool going on what his final condition is going to be.  I put ten cred on him being OK and almost got backhanded by my father.]<<<<<

It took several hours and a bit of surgery, but I think it’s safe to say he’ll be just fine. I’ll give you the full details tomorrow. Right now, I really need some sleep. ]<<<<<

>>>>>[Well, Madre, I do have some limits. There's a difference between scamming a guy with a head injury for a case of beer, and cheating the guy out of serious cred. If I'm going to scam someone, they are going to be firing on all cylinders first. Scamming people with head injuries is like kicking puppies. Yeah, its easy to do, but it cheapens the rest of what you do.

By the way, my dear, I was a little upset that you didn't want to see my house when we were in the Tir, especially after hearing about that Horizon girl. What will I have to do to persuade you, hmm? ;)]<<<<<

>>>>>[ Mmm. Smiley, don't make me smack you. No. You'll probably like that. Let me rephrase. Don't make me shoot you.

As for Money...he's stabilised to the point where its safe to move him. I had a specialist look him over and provide us with a convincing story for his injuries. If anyone asks...a potted plant was dropped on his head. :P No...that's not the actual story we came up with. It did take a lot of thought, though. The kind of head injuries he sustained is very hard to convincingly explain away. I had to do some more magical work to 'encourage' his wounds to heal in such a way as to fit the story. He's now in the custody of DocWagon.

Ice, I'm sad to say, you may miss out on a case of beer. As for persuading me...mmm...you'll just have to try your luck and see what works. Far be it from me to spoil your fun.  :-* ]<<<<<
