>>>>>[Flavor's a nice enough place. Though when I'm drinking in Tarislar, I usually head to the Black Dragon Tavern. Little hole in the wall place run by one of my contacts. Another Tir noble forced out by riotous peasants. The Dragon is a fantasy-themed place. Looks like something out of a Tolkein trid. If you need an 'in' with the Laesa, I can arrange an introduction, for a price.
As for destroying the spirit, Shrike, yes, that would do it, but the question becomes how? You can only really destroy a free spirit if you track down and destroy all the copies of its true name, which you might not even know without doing a jaunt to the metaplanes. And some pacts include hiding a copy of a spirit's true name inside living creatures, meaning that so long as they live, the spirit cannot be destroyed. If a pact is involved, getting rid of a malevolent spirit goes from difficult and dangerous to very, very complex and potentially quite lethal. And that is before you consider what other spirits may think of your actions. While all spirits are not the same, if you go around destroying or abusing them, then the other spirits are likely to get annoyed with you, to say the least.]<<<<<
