>>>>>[I have a couple connections with the Ancients, since I stay in their turf some of the time. Between them and the Laesa, any new magical players in Puyallup and the border areas should be on their radar. You said it was a plant spirit, right? That makes it more likely to be a druid, or perhaps an Amazonian shaman who conjured it. I'm not too familiar with the traditions that use plant spirits, myself, but I know those are two of the largest ones.
I was about to head out to get some grub, anyways, so I'll go and see if I can't track down my contacts. Chrona's place is nice, but understandably he doesn't exactly have much in the way of food I can eat. Though I did use this research opportunity to develop a contact in the 162s. Not sure whether that will ever come in handy, but you never know. Since ghouls are dual-natured, he didn't miss the spirit I was channeling as I cut a bike (and its rider) in half with my sword when one of his buddies decided I looked like easy prey. We came to an agreement. They don't try to eat me, and I don't collect bounties on presenting their hides to the Knights. I don't go hunting ghoul bounties on principle, unless they're ferals. They manage their condition, and don't try and eat me or mine, I have no problem with them. But when someone attacks me or mine, then yes, I will cash in on that bounty, just like I'll sell the body of a ganger who tried to shoot me to ghouls, even though I would never send a live person to them. It may be an arbitrary distinction, but we all do what we can to sleep at night.
Anyways, I'll whistle up a couple ladies I know in the Ancients, and see if I can't get some answers for you, Card. If there's a new player in town, the Ancients will want to know about it.]<<<<<
