>>>>>[Honestly most of my jobs went without incident. Well I won't say I wouldn't screw up like the others if I had to break in and out of high security facilities all the time. I don't really do that stuff, because I don't have to. I always know someone who's going to pin point me to a guy who's going to let me in, do my thing and hold the door until I need to get out. I'd also say the fact that I work alone most of the time lessen the chances of incidents. And when I say incident, it's always something weird or a little crazy I didn't accounted for but never something I can't handle.

For one example, the target I was chasing was paranoid enough to not trust any bodyguard or anyone for that matter. I knew that but what I didn't accounted for is that he wasn't paranoid about his life being in danger, he was paranoid that his knowledge, the things he was working on would fall into the wrong hands and would gladly end his own life and property to prevent that. I wasn't after his research at all but when I forced myself into his limo, he assumed I was. As it turned out, his apartment, his lab, his office and his limo were rigged to explode at the moment of his death. Since I had planned to break his neck inside the limo while nobody was watching, I kinda had to change plans and pretty quick. I waited for an opportunity, well more of a distraction and I could use a puppeteer spell on him and the driver without getting shot first. After that I could just do it somewhere else. That's a shame, the seats were amazingly comfortable in that limo... before it went in flames. Funny thing how quickly firefighters got to his apartment and his lab.]<<<<<

Well, if you need someone out of the chess board discreetly Money, you already have my contact info. I don't take suicidal jobs and I'm pretty expensive but I got perfect and pretty lengthy record. If you need to do some legwork about me first go ahead, I'd say that I'm pretty easy to look into. But a little bird tells me you already did that, did you? Haha.]<<<<<

As for how long I've been at this, well, I didn't start until the Crash, obviously. After I left Malek'thas with a few people who dearly wanted me dead, I didn't have much choice. Some corps can be so unreasonable on the concept of live witnesses.

If work's getting that plentiful in Seattle, I may have to go back there. Its been fun here in LA, but...]<<<<<

>>>>>[It's a lot of little jobs, but requires finesse and manhours if not so much skill.  Political 'runs are fairly safe and sometimes even legal, but doesn't always pay the best, but there's a credstick at the end of the 'run instead of a bullet more often than not, and always with me (My rep will hold that out.).  Prop 23, the creation of a new official part of Seattle with the Ork Underground, is turning into much more of a hot ticket item than anyone expected.  Brackhaven is schmoozing left, right, and center to try and not appear racist but not say one way or another which direction he'll go on it.  The rest of the parties are screaming and yelling about it, and there's 'runs galore about viral/guerrilla advertising IRL, ARO, and Matrix, with defense and defacement of opponents Matrix sites being big jobs for the Matrix Inclined.  For the more physically inclined, there's bodyguard, riot duty, riot provocation, on-demand extraction (This is a job that just might pay to sit around and do nothing!), and one really impressive "Insertion" 'Run that I can't talk about more except that I had to import a team from the Pacific Islands, and you'll know it when you see it.  Magical jobs are plentiful as well, but rarely combat, which limits the pool of your typical Shadowrunners (Is it just me, or does the majority of Spellslingers out there seem to only know how to throw fireballs?).  Astral security with Watchers or low-powered spirits, ritual detection of kidnapped or disappeared everything, and, I drek  you not, "special effects" for speeches are jobs being lined up.

But because the pay isn't that great, so Fixers and Johnsons are dealing with locals with little experience, or folks new in town with no local rep.  The first are a pain as they're jazzed up on 'Trid Shadowrun shows and want to go in guns blazing, and the second are wondering where the hell the sun went.  And that's on top of biz as usual!  Yeah, for the next couple of months, there's going to be jobs galore, just might not be up your alley, is all.]<<<<<

>>>>>[That would explain why I've had only three jobs inside Seattle since I came back and only one of them political related. That's also probably why my fixer told me there was a lot of jobs around but didn't forward me anything, he knows I will not accept a smaller check than usual, under any circumstances. I do accept bodyguard jobs too, I mean most assassins make a great addition to a protection team as we tend to see things coming, but I must be too expensive. Hahaha!]<<<<<

>>>>>[Likewise, Ice. I wasn't given the name "Madrecita" for nothing. And don't mistake an aversion for males in my bed as having a general grudge.

Mmm...small magical jobs that require a bit more than fireballs? What the heck. I'd be willing to take a few of them on, Money. I've been meaning to get a feel for running again. Well...getting a feel for running, period. All the runs I've done over the last 19 years were for personal reasons, or as favours to contacts. I've never run for Mr. Johnson before. Might be interesting. I think a 6 year vacation minding the store is long enough. ]<<<<<

>>>>>[Well, a fireball certainly ends most arguments quite effectively. I agree that it isn't very subtle. Personally, if I can't talk my way out of a situation, I'll ask one of the spirits to possess me, and cut my way out. But I'd be the first to admit that I'm no face. Still, the bodyguard thing is something I've done before. Before I left Seattle, my cover was working as a high end male escort. So no one thought anything of it when they saw me on some socialite's arm, running close protection.

And Madre, sorry if I mistook your words, though they were slanted that way. And thanks.

On a related note, if anyone ever wants a snapshot of hell, I've got a simsense recording that will chill your bones, with or without hot sim.]<<<<<

Just be careful what you think around him. He's not just hot in bed, he's got some hot mojo too. Once you're relaxed, or completely distracted, he'll steal the paydata right out of your head and you won't even know he got it. Slick! ]<<<<<
