>>>>>[Wolfgar, two things...  One, the damned pixie got away again.  Bloody this time, at least.  She won't be so pretty anymore.  Two, now I remember why I don't go to Da Bayou...  Nearly lost a leg to a giant leach, was shot by five people speaking All-Father knows what (It wasn't French or English, or Cajun either for that matter) who thought I was part of the CAS Revenue Service going after their 'stills, found out there's a catfish that seems to be related to the Blackberry Cat (same powers at least) and works in conjunction with gators, and was arrested for driving a car that was on fire.

On the flipside, I did meet some Cajuns who had some damn fine crawdads and 'shine and let me stay around for a bit recovering from the pixie's attack on me, and made me a nice set of leather shoes in exchange for the meat and other hides.  Oh, and no blows to the head for once!  Oh, and Iceblade, thanks for the assist, hope you enjoyed the cred and didn't spend it all on Bourbon St.  Back in Seattle now, recovering from everything, especially the second-degree burns.  Health Tip:  If the car's on fire, don't be the one driving it.  CAS Redneck Lockup is not a fun place to be.]<<<<<

>>>>>[No problem, Money. Battling the spirits was a fun challenge. And I got a new pair of boots out of the deal, so that's all to the good. Didn't spend all the cred, either. Spending a few days in New Orleans for a vacation. Actually picked up my old SIN to use for this stay. Probably shouldn't stay here too long, or those idiots will come trying to put a bullet in me again, but I figure a few national borders will slow them up enough that I can have a few days of R&R. And the ladies just love a real Tir nobleman.

On the other hand, it is interesting talking with some of the local Awakened crowd here. Met a mambo who was willing to talk over drinks. We both come from possession traditions, so it was interesting to see how another magician saw the world. And she gave me a real workout after. What these CAS girls lack in technique, they more than make up for with passion, let me tell you!]<<<<<

>>>>>[Ah, the old Streetline Special. Not bad for a throwaway. Use it in a hit, and then leave it sitting somewhere in gang territory. Eventually, someone will pick the thing up and use it, and the murder rap is one step further removed from your doorstep. For a day-to-day gun, though, I prefer my Fubuki. Lightweight, easy to conceal, and provides a decent punch without much kick. I use it when blades or spells aren't practical for a situation.]<<<<<

>>>>>[Big Murphy collects holdouts as a hobby.  He rarely uses them on the job.  Note, rarely, it's that time he does use one that surprises the hell out of everyone, as he can almost palm most light pistols.

I'm constantly testing new firearms all the time (The joys of working the Shadows and owning stock in firearms companies!), but I've found that the Browning Ultra-Power in .45 ACCP gives me the greatest combination of stopping power, size (Thick but short), magazine capacity, and intimidation value, for an everyday carry.  For heavier combat situations, I find the Colt Government Model of 2066, also in .45 ACCP, with a factory-installed optional smartgun link is an excellent go-to firearm, but an Ares Predator IV (Preferably the sub-contracted version made in the PCC) can work in a pinch as well.  Truth is, however, the world is made of weapons, you just have to have an eye for them.  Worst case scenario, the brick wall is usually tougher than most idiot's skulls.]<<<<<

>>>>>[And if it isn't, then you should probably be running, instead of picking a fight with them. Or just use a slap patch of Laes on them. Oh, for those of you in LA, if you want someone to die a messy, horrible, tortuous death, dose them with Laes and leave them floating in the water until they wake up. Even if they don't run afoul of the shedim, toxic critters, or other locals, all that time in the water means they almost certainly are going to come down with La Gripe Sangrienta. Nasty, horrible way to die, and it takes a couple weeks.

Just an FYI if, you know, you ever have a job where someone wants a person removed from the situation, but without the nastiness of putting a bullet in the brainpan. Or if they want to send a message. And believe me, there isn't any clearer message about what you'll do to your enemies than by making them get La Gripe Sangrienta. That says you won't just kill them, but you're going to make them suffer.]<<<<<

>>>>>[There's someone on life support begging to be allowed to suicide constantly by the only way he can communicate, blinking in morse code.  He gets to live a nice, natural lifespan, then gets Leonization, but no reconstructive operations.  I won't be around to piss on his grave, but I think this is a better deal.

No one messes with my family.  No one kills my wife and gets something as simple as a slow, painful death.  Life is what you get.  Funny thing is...  Never touched the bastard.  Didn't even have to.  Did it to himself just trying to run away from me.  The health care and Leonization is just out of the goodness of my heart, and is tax deductible.]<<<<<

>>>>>[That's one way to do it. After the revolution, I tracked down the people who caught my sister before she could get out of country. Now, normally when I kill someone, I just kill them and be done with it. Shark is not a sadist, and does not kill out of malice, but to end suffering. However, these people deserved something 'special'. I decided to take a page out of this Eastern European warlord's playbook. You might have heard of him. Guy named Vlad the Impaler. Stripped the bastards naked, shoved a barbed metal rod up the tailpipe, and lifted them up, so that their own body weight impaled them. I was even nice enough to heal them a couple times during the course of it, though I didn't take them off the poles. I'm told they were found a week later, after someone distributed the trid recording to their next of kin.

Not that this would have anything to do with people still wanting me dead, of course.]<<<<<

>>>>>[By Loki, damn that reminds me of the last idiot that didn't do his research properly!  He threatened to torture my Father and Brother in front of me, like that'd be painful to me.  Guess he hadn't heard that their "Wedding Presents" to me was to divorce me legally from the rest of the family.  I asked if  I could get a Simsense Recording of the torturer for my own records.

Then he threatened my sister.  Then my Grandather.  Oh All Father, that last one, I couldn't stop laughing, despite the troll hitting me in the titanium-enhanced rib cage!  I'm the nice one of the family.

Grandpa called "Bug City" a vacation.  My sister calls doing missionary work in the drekkiest parts of Africa a "calling".  That should tell you something about my "real" family.  Certainly freaked out the punk of a Mafioso I was dealing with.  Then I broke lose, met his boss, and the drek hit the ventilator for the poor guy.  Couldn't have happened to a nicer slot.]<<<<<

I love it when they assume. Worked with a Troll once who used a Super Warhawk as a holdout--she was pretty big, even for the metatype. Wouldn't mind taking a trip down memory lane with her, fun times, good 'runner, and one of the best dates I ever had.]<<<<<

Muh Uncle, whoz iz a runty of a Troll, haz a revolver collection, a Colt Asp iz a holdout fer him, but he loadz it wit' da hot banger-bang roundies.  Makez guud holes in da folks what t'ink it'z a pop-gun.  He'z also gota snubnosed Superwarhawk dat might az well bez a light pistol fer him.  Datz hiz backup piece.  Mez, I likez da automatic-loader pistol types an' da shotties, caseless fer da pistols, shellz fer da shotties.  Da dayz a jammin' have been long over-like.]<<<<<
