== Description ==
Gavin has recently been released from prison and shows it. A couple new scars from an attempted murder mark his ribcage and his face is now drawn and haggard. He is not the youthful boy he was when he entered the prison system and these days he spends most of his time working on legitimate business. Of course he never was truly out of the game, he pumped too much nuyen into his body to just walk away from it all. Raizor is slow to accept a job and quick to walk away from the table, his greed no longer outweighs his common sense. He prefers real tabacco cigarettes and a cold brew to a fine meal and isn't above working for free if it helps his neighborhood. A team is a family and if you get adopted temporarily you act as low man of the totem pole and do what needs to be done, whatever that may be.

== Background ==
Gavin Dupree is originally from Toronto but moved to Denver in his early teens. The glamour of the big city potential work in the shadows mesmerized the poor kid and soon he was running drugs for local gangs for bits of payment that allowed him to further fuel his dreams. Money turned to 'ware and 'ware brought him more jobs. Hired muscle, a personal driver, simple B&E, whatever was needed on the street is the gap that he sought to fill. Of course that was how he ended up in the slammer.

By that time he had earned the nickname Raizor, partially because of his cutting edge driving skills and partially because of his penchant of leaving behind bodies with a Glasglow Grin as taught to him by the drug smugglers he worked for, and it was a simple job gone awry. A local addict was running scared from a debt he owed to the local gang (Skeleton Keys) and needed to be taught a lesson. What was a simple intimidation with a professional and Raizor as the hired muscle became a near murder and as it turns out... the addict was an informant to Lone Star. This left Raizor in a position to be sent immediately to prison while the gang was eventually dissolved thanks to the informant's information.

Raizor has been on the street exactly two months since being released from prison. Catching a bus back to Denver, he picked up where he left off. He works part time in a car shop and full time sitting around talking to old 'runners who are out of the game. He can be approached for work, but often he turns it down unless the team or the job catches his eye.

== Concept ==
A tough guy from the streets working his way up to a full time Shadowrunner, Where a street urchin started as hired muscle and a gopher, the outcome is hopefully a hardened and professional wheelman for whoever needs a transporter with a litle muscle.

Any opinions? I am not trying to max him out nor hunker him down with much more 'ware. Just looking to see if the overall concept is sound.

Well unless you are really married to the idea of being able to do a large number of things I would consider laying off of some of the skill groups. As for qualities I might consider fewer negative qualities that will limit your options. Depending on the GM vindictive could be pretty nasty especially since you already have a criminal SIN. Other than that if you are going to start running I would suggest picking up some sensors or perhaps some programs for your commlink, they aren't needed but can be helpful for security and utility.

The first thing that jumps out at me is your Initiative and Initiative Passes.  Or, more accurately, the lack thereof.  I'd highly recommend getting Wired Reflexes 1 at the very least, and potentially Reaction Enhancers.  Yes, this means that you'll need to re-do the cyberware you have.  But the Initiative and Initiative Passes you gain from these 2 will more than make up for the loss of whatever it is you have there.

Drop the goggles and increase the rating on the glasses.  Then put all that stuff into the glasses, and then add Vision Enhancement.  VE adds its rating to your visual perception tests, so it's a must-have.  You should also pick up Earbuds and add Audio Enhancement, because AE adds its rating to your...auditory perception tests.

I'm also having a hard time figuring out what this character's concept is.  I know you stated that it's a street urchin-turned runner, but some of the skills you have don't fit with a street urchin.  For example, most (if not all) of the mechanical skills, especially Aeronautics Mechanic.  Why would a street-dweller know how to fix airplanes?  I can see that you've taken several skill groups, and some of them don't fit and/or aren't needed.  At the very least, drop the mechanical skill group and, because of your statement that it's a street urchin, increase the Stealth skill group to 4.

In fact, I think you should re-think the concept as far as skills go.  I get pilot ground craft - it fits, and it's something you would know.  But piloting helicopters?  My honest advice - and this is not to be a prick or sound mean - is to re-think the concept, seriously and honestly, and then fit the skills to the concept.
