He tells the team, "I'm going to get a birds eye up on the building adjacent from the field. Get a better, look at the general carnage." He walks over tot he building a analyzes it a bit, for anything strange and the best way to get to the top without going inside the building yet.

Crow tells the rest of the team "Seems like Meat might've found something interesting in the sports field. Once we're done here, I'd like to take a look at this." As he is speaking through his microphone, he waves and points to the sports field.

OOC: He is NOT going in by himself. He'll wait close to the entrance, but far enough so that he has time to react should something come out suddenly.

Meat directs Merlin to the Southeast side of the compound (to where Crow has designated) and keeps his eyes to the Northwest. The sheer amount of bodies in this place was starting to really make him anxious.

"So Crow, in your 'expert' opinion, just HOW MUCH mojo happened here? The bodies aren't even decaying right. We're a couple days late to the party, and they look like they got gutted this morning"

Putting a hand on his rig, meat contents himself knowing that he has at least three cans of explosives ready to get thrown if this turned into a zombie trid.

"Merlin, how about some music, yeah? Liven this party up"

Flak instead moves to the Pyramid after figuring that building will have to be last on the list. "I'm going to take a gander around the pyramid." Once he wanders over to the Pyramid records again what  his findings are as he examines the ground around the pyramid and the pyramid itself.

"As far as I can tell, there was a lot of magic involved, and it seems to be the bad kind, indigenous to the region, that requires sacrifices to fuel it." Crow then pauses for a moment to think and continues, with a straight face, "As to what it was, as improbable as it may sound, my "professional" opinion would be Big Foot."

Then, speaking directly to Flak, "That pyramid was probably used for human sacrifices in the 5th world, so odds are it's full of bad energy. I would suggest not getting close to that before investigating everything else, and then we would have to be on high allert."

The hummer, with Merlin piloting shadows you like a puppy, but unlike your avoiding of bodies, he drive straight over them. There is a lot of popping and grinding sounds, you think great now we're going to have to wash the dead off the Hummer.

Infact the bodies don't look more than a minute dead, it give you the hippie gibbies.

I have two choices that would work for this scene, operator Meat. Thriller by Micheal Jackson, and house of 1,000 corpses by Rob Zombie. Which would you like? you sigh, you know that Merlin is trying to help but all he's doing is making the feel of zombie corpses raising more likely.

You find just more dead, the ritual site is probably at the top of the pyramid.

The more you walk the site the feeling of dread contuines to rise, this was a major mojo event. If you had to say all the fallen were part of some blood ritual, they're deaths were used to fuel a ritual of some kind. Now that you've said it you feel it is rather unlikely that Bigfoot was involved, or even a single person to do this kind of ritual it feels like something that would take dozens of people working ion concert to do this kind of ritual.

No Probably about it anymore you see more drag marks and blood trails leading to the stair on the pyramid. The stairs themselves are stained red with a small river of blood, that has dribbled down the steps.

Still feeling nauseated from his trip on the astral, Lurking Crow says to the rest of the team, "I don't think we'll find much more here than we have already found. How about we leave Merlin to keep an eye on the perimeter and we check the top of the pyramid?" and points at the top of the pyramid. "Once we've cleared that, these stairs need some investigating too. You know how much I like close quarters, so we could leave that last."

"I'm game with that, afterwards i wanna check the building to the west before we head off." Flak makes his way back around to the foot of the stairs of the pyramid, waiting on the team to show up before going up.

Meat begins heading towards the pyramid, not happy that they were going to the top of the pyramid.

The top of the damn thing, Crow, really? Next you'll want to read Latin from the spooky book.

Ensuring that his MG was ready to fire (And checking his PAN to ensure that his rifle was equally ready to fire) he headed to the pyramid, indicating to Merlin via their net to hold the perimeter at the base of the stairs.

"You know, Merlin, you really need to update your music files. Get us some Mara Mercrucial or something"

Putting a foot on the first step, Meat felt undeniably uneasy.

"Waiting on your signal to advance, Crow."

"Flak, you take point. Meat, you're closing. Keep some distance between us; we don't want to give them an easy target, but at the same time we want to be close enough to get to one another should something happen." After that, Crow addresses Merlin, "Merlin, monitor the perimeter and keep the gun on safe mode. If you find any threats, report to Meat and get his approval before firing on anything." As soon as everyone is ready, they make their way upstairs, slowly. Crow is particularly vigilant, looking for any signs that there might still be some activity up at the top of the pyramid.

Flak nodded, "I'll be a few paces ahead." He trots up the stairs with his SMG in hand as he looks around and listens to the sounds of the pyramid.

For some reason you thought this would fix the music problem but he found a Zombie tune again, this one by the artist you asked for.

Putting a foot on the first step, Meat felt undeniably uneasy.

"Waiting on your signal to advance, Crow."

With Meat in the rear the group begins walking up the steps, the footing is uneven. Each foot step makes a mushy sound as you tread the stairs covered in blood.

"Flak, you take point. Meat, you're closing. Keep some distance between us; we don't want to give them an easy target, but at the same time we want to be close enough to get to one another should something happen." From the center of the group you keep your eyes pealed and watch the steps noticing an unsettling facts. Mainly that the only foot prints in the blood are Meat's and the rest of the team, leading to the idea your the only ones that traveled on these steps sense they were covered in blood.

Flak nodded, "I'll be a few paces ahead." He trots up the stairs with his SMG in hand as he looks around and listens to the sounds of the pyramid.

Perception Perception 2 + Int 4 (6d6.hits(5)=3)

The term "dead" silent rings in your head, only sounds is the breathing of your companions and the thrum of the hummers engine.

You pan picks up no wireless signals.

When you reach the top of the Pyramid you find the primary ritual site. The layout is nothing you've seen before, there are five corpses there. Four of them are at the cardinal points with the fifth in the center each has had their hearts ripped out. In between the corpses lays spent brazers filled with burn herbs. The middle body in on an alter bound hand and foot a ritual knife lies next to the corpse along with the victims heart, with a piece missing. You notice, with a gut wrenching thought, a bite has been taken out of the heart.

I'm trying to convey the horror you're characters are seeing I'm hoping to get the idea across. Have fun investigating.

As Crow gets up the stairs, a feeling of dread drapes him like a cold blanket. His feet covered in blood, he makes his way to the top of the pyramid with the rest of his team. When they get to the top, the macabre scene that lay there causes him to shudder for an instant. "I hate this field of magic" he thinks to himself. He tells his teammates, "Don't touch anything just yet, let me take a look and try to figure out who did this first" before scanning the scene, on the lookout for anything valuable. As he spots the sacrificial knife near the altar, he takes a look at it through the astral, trying to see if there are any residual signatures on it or the scene around them.

Assensing 4 + Intuition 3 (7d6.hits(5)=4)

Once he's looked through the astral, Crow turns to his partners and signals to them he's done with the scene. He then says, "At least we know it wasn't a self sacrifice and whoever is responsible for this is still on the loose."

"At least there's that. Maybe we could tell him he lost his knife?  I'm sure they'd love to have it back. We might even get invited to dinner!"

Sighing, Meat looks out over the wasteland. It was blood magic, of course, but aside from that there we no other clues to ascertain who did this, aside from those Closed Circuit cameras.

"Once we're done here, we're making a stop at the box for those Cameras by the sports field. It'll give us something more concrete than Mojo-signatures - No Offense, Crow"

"Well I'm not getting any wireless signals, so those cameras, Meat, are either for show or hooked up to something non wireless. I wonder if the camera controls are in the building." Flak feels to deathly wind as they are up on top of this pyramid, he looked around a bit and than decides to view the field from where they are, magnifying when possible.
