As Crow gets up the stairs, a feeling of dread drapes him like a cold blanket. His feet covered in blood, he makes his way to the top of the pyramid with the rest of his team. When they get to the top, the macabre scene that lay there causes him to shudder for an instant. "I hate this field of magic" he thinks to himself. He tells his teammates, "Don't touch anything just yet, let me take a look and try to figure out who did this first" before scanning the scene, on the lookout for anything valuable. As he spots the sacrificial knife near the altar, he takes a look at it through the astral, trying to see if there are any residual signatures on it or the scene around them.

The astral plane here looks like is been torn and wrenched like someone was doing a summoning. Looks like what ever happened it did not work.

"At least there's that. Maybe we could tell him he lost his knife?  I'm sure they'd love to have it back. We might even get invited to dinner!"

Sighing, Meat looks out over the wasteland. It was blood magic, of course, but aside from that there we no other clues to ascertain who did this, aside from those Closed Circuit cameras.

"Once we're done here, we're making a stop at the box for those Cameras by the sports field. It'll give us something more concrete than Mojo-signatures - No Offense, Crow"

From the top of the pyramid you can see two cameras that can make out the top of the pyramid. They'd be the best chance of identifying who ever did this.

"Well I'm not getting any wireless signals, so those cameras, Meat, are either for show or hooked up to something non wireless. I wonder if the camera controls are in the building." Flak feels to deathly wind as they are up on top of this pyramid, he looked around a bit and than decides to view the field from where they are, magnifying when possible.

The cables lead into a underground walkway so your not sure if the abandoned building is part of this.

"Interesting..." mutters Crow as he comes back to the material plane. He looks over at Flak, then at Meat, and tells them "I'm pretty much done here. Unless you guys need to do more, we can head over to those cameras and that stairwell."

As his teammates are heading down, Crow keeps in formation, always keeping an eye open for any nasty surprises.

"I think we are good here." Flak looks over to the field and than the Stiars Down and than to Meat, "Wires to those cameras look to go underground, I guess we'll take the stairs next?"

((I'm assuming that was what Stair Down on the map meant.)

"Let's go then, I don't want to be up here any longer than we need to be."

Taking point, Meat led the group to the stairs, crouching as he got closer, until he was close enough top pop up to a sanding position and direct the barrel of the MG down the corridor. He scanned quickly for everything he could, moving forward down the stairs.

As they stay crouched next to the stairs, Crow says to the rest of the team, "Let me have a look first before we physically go blind in there. Watch over me." and fades into the astral, looking ahead before they venture in.

The stairs lead down into darkness, it appears the that lights have been shot out or shattered.

"Let's go then, I don't want to be up here any longer than we need to be."

Upon arriving at the top of the stairs you see scrap marks and some blood spatter looks like someone was dragged down the stairs recently.

As they stay crouched next to the stairs, Crow says to the rest of the team, "Let me have a look first before we physically go blind in there. Watch over me." and fades into the astral, looking ahead before they venture in.

The walkway is unlit (Which I had to look up and astral plane does not add light to the unlit), you can not make out much other than you sense 4 things down there.

The walkway down looks something like this:

Flak has the smg ready in his left hand and sword out with his right awaiting for Crow to come back and report before going down their to take point, being a dwarf has it's team advantages when he's up front. "Dum dee dum..." he sings to himself gruffly.

As Crow comes back from the astral, he says, "Alright guys, it's pitch dark in there, but I counted at least 4 possible hostiles in there. Let's keep formation and remember that I'll be blind in there." He looks at Meat and continues, "That means warn me before opening fire."

When the team is ready, they cautiously venture down the stairs.

Meat places his hand on Flak's shoulder as he steps forward, holding him steady. Meat speaks through the team's net in his subvocal microphone.

"I'm taking point, Flak. We don't know exactly what kind of threat we're dealing with here."

With that Meat steps forward, shifting his contact's vision over to low-light, then turning his non-shooting eye's contact off, allowing his natural thermographic to shift over, letting the two pieces of vision overlap with one another in a practiced brain exercise. Meat slowly paces forwards, looking out for obvious threats.

Meat sneaks down the stairs keeping as quiet as possible, his foot steps barely a whisper even in combat boots. Meat raises his hand and makes a fist to signal "halt" hearing voices ahead, its a soft conversation but it is in a language he can't makeout. Spanish maybe, but all those kinds of dialects sounds the same perhaps its Portuguese.

Flak has the smg ready in his left hand and sword out with his right awaiting for Crow to come back and report before going down their to take point, being a dwarf has it's team advantages when he's up front. "Dum dee dum..." he sings to himself gruffly.

Flak moves slowly down the steps , his thermographic vision starts to kick in. The tunnel surroundings come into bland blue outlines, the heat of the day being drowned out buy the subterranean atmosphere.  Ahead you can make out soft conversation its in Spanish.
"We need more"
"the sun is up you can wait"
"I want more now"
"then go get some"
"But it hurts"
The conversation does not make much sense to you but it sounds like what even is down here can speak Spanish at least.

Flak sighed as the Big Guy took point, always tough to shoot when he has Meat in front of him. He crouches low as he follows Meat in hopes to see through his legs, sheathing his sword. He than hears the echoeing of Spanish. He speaks into his subvocal mic to the team, "Conversation in Spanish ahead, seems one of them is looking for a kick. They don't sound like druggies."

Meat whispered through his subvocal mic, being as quiet as he could.

"You want to talk or do we just put them down?"

"These are the times I remember I should buy grenades." he sighs "I can sneak through and take a peak and report to you guys." Flak looks confident in his sneaking capabilities.

"Do they sound hostile, Flak? There's a chance they might have been here during the attack. Do we subdue them quickly and then interrogate or do we try to reason with them?"

Crow then motions for Flak to go ahead and says, sub vocally, " Go ahead and see what the situation looks like. We'll wait here, ready to come out if you need us to."
