Flak responds to them in Spanish, "You stay back and no one will get hurt.." he speaks in English to Meat & Crow, "They think we're hunting them." Gun staying on the Ghouls.

"Wow, ghouls afraid of US..." Crow says to the team. "Tell them we want them no harm, we just want to know what happened here and we want to check the camera box. If they could help us, we'd be very grateful and would leave them alone, without telling anyone they're here."

Crow then raises his hand in the air, motioning to go slow. "Even though they might say they're scared of us, keep your distances."

"Muévete!!" they were too scared, to question them was a bit of a risk in his eyes as he gestures his gun for them to leave. "Clear a hole!" He says to the team to move away from the ghouls as they leave.

The ghouls turn and bolt down the tunnel fleeing from the group. You wait several moments before approaching the relay box, it takes a few minutes to open the box and get at the internal wiring.  After a few more minutes of tinkering you find a backup data module, its encrypted but should have some camera shots of the attack .


So you need to either try to decrypt it yourselves, find someone who can. Or get a sat up link and have the company do decryption. Figure its got  rating 4 encryption.

"That was pretty easy" says Lurking Crow as the ghouls start running down the tunnel. "I think that's all of them, but let's get our stuff quickly and get back out into the sunlight. We still have plenty to do at the barracks."

After getting the backup module, Crow motions for the team to move out in formation, keeping alert all the way out.

Flak motions over and looks around to make sure all is well while Meat does what he wanted to do...being a watchtower, but short and stocky at that. He looks over to Crow, "Hopefully they don't come back with more friends and that we are long gone before that."

Meat pulls the backup device out and places it in one of his pouches, then begins moving back towards the entrance.

"Lets get going. Merlin, meet us at the top of the stairs, we're moving out"[/coor]

Merlin sends some beeps and tones like R2D2 again. The teams moves up the stairs and meets him out side the you can see the sun starting to set. You remember that the local Aztlan troopsvsaid that the night is not safe.

ok I am on vacation and trying to keep upnwith the game but all I have is a kindle so don't expect the best responces.

Flak nods in agreement with Meat and follows into the back seat of the vehicle, "So what's the plan on accessing that drive?"

Crow sits in the hummer, "Well, we could overnight it to HQ. I get a feeling doing it locally wouldn't yield the results we're looking for. We could drop it off with a courier before heading to the barracks."

Meat settles in the back and hands the drive up to the cab.

"Let HQ deal with it, we don't have the time or tech to sift through it"

Lurking Crow starts the hummer and straps himself. He instructs Merlin to stay in scan mode and report to Meat. "So let's drop off the drive first and then head to the barracks. Guess we'll eat after that." He then heads towards the airport, driving fast but cautiously.

"Speak for yourself. I'm eating now."

And with that, Meat opens up a pack of rations and begins shoving processed soy proteins into his mouth unceremoniously, getting as much in as quickly as he can.

"Yknow, *slurp* These things aren't so bad after your tongue gets numb *scarf*"

*Flak just nods in silence as he was about to open his rations as he looks to see what he would need to pretend is food* "Chicken & Rice...yay..." *He says gruffly in sarcasm*

Crow listens to the team talk while focusing on the road.

"Yknow, *slurp* These things aren't so bad after your tongue gets numb *scarf*"

"Well, one thing's for sure, they can't be as bad as your cooking." He then nods towards Flak. "Remember the last Amazon job? We made the mistake of letting Meat cook and Digit was sick for 2 days" says Crow as he chuckles a bit. He then goes silent for a moment, out of respect for Digit. "Man, speaking of Digit, we could sure use him with this camera business right about now" thinks Crow to himself.
