Slipping back into the meat world, Fionn started helping the injured into the new ride in spite of his own troubles - he wasn't about to let O'Connor slow that down.  "And they'll find an empty race track, so why the hell does that matter?  Or do you actually think these morons are gonna be able to track us down after we ditch these wheels?"

Clementine thought about firing a shot at the gangers fleeing, but decided she needed to keep her ammo. Seeing O'Connor and Fionn argue, she went over to O'Connor and put her hand on the rifle, lowering it to the ground away from any targets. She said to him, "You know the kid's right, we need to keep our ammunition. Any other day of the week I would've wasted them, but today I can't afford it. But don't worry, we still have the warehouse to satisfy our hunger."

Fionn gets the first real chance to look at the wheels he has stolen, it is a dirty grey panel with no seating inside, including for the driver, and no controls beyond the remote operation.  He is confused until he notes the clamps in the middle of the floor, this vehicle belongs to someone incapable of driving themselves.  Calling up the registry info, it shows a little old dude that lives nearby.  He is severely disabled, and either can't afford or wouldn't survive implants to make him more capable.

Johnny watched the other assailants flee and turned to the man he had just killed. He knew deep down that what he had done had made the world a fraction better. The banger was to lost in his hate to recover but a human life was still that and it made Johnny's belly cold with guilt knowing he had caused the carnage.
He sighed and squatted down over the body picking up the room-sweeper he had already seen in the thugs hand. He searched the troll-killer's corpse looking for extra ammo or any thing else useful.

Johnny piled the extra ammo and snap injectors into the vest and joined the others.

O'Connor watched as the four loose ends faded into the surrounding darkness. He looked between them and Clem for a moment before he turned away with a frustrated yell. Letting them live to become future problems went against every instinct he had, and he just knew that somehow, someday, this was going to bite them all in the ass. He reloaded the rifle as he returned to the vehicle. After giving their ride a look over, O'Connor raised an eyebrow, "The hell's up with this thing?"

Slowly Sammy came around, opening her eyes and looking into Heron's face.
"Thanks, I guess," she managed to say, "I... I think next time I'll wear some armour before I try that again.  What happened?"

"Damn, looks like the poor guy who owns this is disabled and can't get the implants to make up for it...  Gonna have to replace or return it soon as I can..."

"This is a debt that will be repaid quickly if this is what you bargained for with your powerful being, Red" announced Clementine, visibly not impressed.

"This is just the closest thing I could find myself.  May be a piece, but it's what we've got until we can find some alternative - which shuold really be soon, since getting into any sort of conflict or crash in this thing would be seriously bad news."

Getting everyone in the van is minimally difficult.  Matty took a hell of a beating and Torley seems to be recovering from the shock of all the gunfire, not to mention the condition of your two mages, but the rest of you are managing quite well now that you are moving again.

Fionn makes contact with Criedhe and gets a map overlay of the area just in time to realize the road you are on that leads from the racetrack doesn’t go all the way to Highway 7.  You turn north (OOCnote: Right in front of the house I used to live in in Spanaway, BTW     ) and soon able to reach a major traffic artery.

Criedhe effectively keeping you invisible, now is a good time figure out your next step.

Clementine looks at Sammy, asking her "Is there anything we can do to help?" She then turns over to O'Connor and asks him "Where's your gun dealer, Con?"

"Darrell's shop is in Redmond, in the The Verge to be more specific. Red, can ya boost another set of wheels? My buddy ain't gonna like me showin' up with everyone in tow. It'd be better if just me an' maybe Clem went to pick up the gear. Speakin' of which, I need to know what we're gonna need. What types of guns are you guys good with?" O'Connor pulled out a commlink and began typing in everyone's replies.

"Unless you're a surgeon, I don't think there's much you can do at the moment," Sammy said to Clem.  Then she turned to O'Conner.
"No gun for me.  I don't think that in my current condition I will be able to hit the proverbial broad side of a barn."

"Speaking of guns O'Conner, I picked up a few things from that dirt bag troll-killer you might find interesting. " Johnny unfolds the vest to show the group the room sweeper, extra ammo, and the snap injectors. "I don't know whats in the injectors but I figured they might be worth something to someone and as for the gun..." Johnny shrugs with a smile "I don't usually have a use for them. If somebody wants this one they can have at it. The vest though, it I could use if I can wash off the colors" Johnny leans in and sniffs it, disgust instantly crossing his face. "and the stench."

"As it stands, we're pretty much invisible - but if we split up, I'm not sure the bargain would cover you guys.  Gotta grab a new ride all the same, though...  Far as guns go, I've really only handled hunting rifles and shotguns - get me a shotgun and some stick-n-shock slugs and I can do something other than horribly; if it's got a smartgun system so much the better, since I can use that without gear."
