It takes a bit of doing, but by noon you have assured yourself, without exposure, that you have located the warehouse in question.  Completely non-descript building with some ancient faded signage that seems to indicate it was once had something to do with the repair of boats.  Entry points on all facings plus vehicle door on the street side and another for boats on the water.  Roughly square, w/ a guesstimate of 1600 sq m inside.

Neighborhood is working class housing and warehouse district.  Kinda place where people mind their own business, but will call the Knight if things get interesting.

What is the plan?

"While Fion checks out the techie side of what can be waiting for us, I think it's best if Heron and me did another astral recon," Sammy said, "park the car a bit further, so we know where to find our bodies back afterwards.  Is that okay?"

Fionn parks the van about 200 meters away from the warehouse, in a strip mall that includes several 24hour establishments and businesses and a generous parking lot.

A few minutes of reconnaissance easily turns up the following information: the only online matrix presence for the warehouse is an arrow directing inquiries to a corporate call center and a security camera node for external surveillance only that is easily dealt with, this is in spite of the fact that there is definitely additional electronics on the doors.

Astral checks show the ward still in place and the bonded items still inside the building, but nothing else.

Additionally, both O'Connor and Torley note among the various random vehicles parked in the lot, their own POVs are exactly where they would have parked them had they come here for a meet.

"Should we knock?" Johnny looks around grinning then sighs when nobody smiles. "Icarus do you think you could get in un-noticed?"

"I can take a look, but without any gear, the best I can figure to do is to open up a piece of wall.  It won't be pretty if I do though"

O'Connor rolled his eyes, "We know that the place is empty and security is minimal. We should just go in and grab our stuff. Hell, we might even get some clue was to what the hell is going on here."

"Smash and grab sounds good to me" says Clementine. "Better if Red can take care of any alarms, but if not, it looks like it would take some time for any security forces to be here and we could be long gone by then."

"Give me a few minutes to scout it out before you do anything - no people is not the same as empty.  I'll keep you posted, and I'm turning the mic feeds on the commlinks back on, so I'll be able to hear you if you need me for something."  At that point, he slipped into a trance, diving into the virtual realm once more.

@Machine Sprite: "You've done all I've needed you to, friend.  Consider your part of our bargain fulfilled."  The sprite still owed him a service, but he didn't have need of it for the moment and in fact was about to ask another to take its place.  Accordingly, he dropped almost through the normal Matrix, almost but not quite bring himself into contact with the Realms he still yearned to reach, and called for tracker to aid him.  As he did, energy pulsed out from the web that lay before him; he resisted his first instinct to attempt to dodge it or find cover and for some reason instead met it.  This time it didn't burn like it normally did; this time, instead, he felt like something was judging him.

What the hell did I even do that for?  That could have...  He didn't finish the thought.  All the same, an iridescent blue fox appeared before him, lights dancing along its fur.  He felt its words more than he did hear them.  "That was an impressive display, young one.  What would you ask of us that you would face such raw energies so heedlessly?"

@Sprite: "In truth, my needs are simple - but they are pressing.  I must discover what is contained within this structure before my companions attempt to gain entry; I would ask you to find as much as you can from the vantage points we are able to provide you as we move forward."  Fionn indicated the warehouse he meant and the three commlinks they had procured in Yakima.  The creature nodded, and as it did Fionn thought he could see some shadow of another movement.  "Certainly this task does not challenge us overmuch.  We will help you as we can."  The sprite shot off to begin its exploration, and Fionn was almost sure he saw two shadows of it move off in other directions.

@Through Commlink and Van Speakers: "Alright, I'm not quite going to be able to scan everything from out here, but if Icarus takes one of the 'links and does a sweep around the outside of the warehouse, I should get a better idea of things pretty quickly.  If you don't go too quickly, I should be able to warn you of anything I can detect before you get to it, and being able to stay under will let me work a lot faster if things go wrong."

"Sounds good to me." Icarus says as he climbs out if the van.  "How close do you need Red?"

"Complicated question.  Anything with a strong enough signal, I could pick up out here; so far there's nothing.  What I'm concerned about is stuff that won't, meaning that you gotta get into range of it before I can pick it up...  If you're about 60 meters from the warehouse itself, that should get you pretty much anything with a strong enough signal to be picked up from outside.  In pretty general terms, the next 'band' down is a 40 meter radius, which we could get if you hugged the walls, but that's assuming no signal blocking.  As for you sticking close, Johnny, that's all physical stealth, so I'll leave it to you two on that one; bit outside my area.  Wouldn't hurt to get a visual recon, anyways."
