So who's going to be Ravanna's errand boy to hold her gear and weapons?

She's going to be a bit of a scout, well aerial recon, then have some nice support spells. Lots of flash, not a ton of bang though.

Quick question for any mage vets out there. I haven't done a mage since early 3rd Ed, I took 1 initiation on my new build, whats a good metamagic to take?

I'm looking for something useful to help protect Ravanna since when she's in bird form she has no armor.

Seeing as Steelshine has a 7 Str, he should be able to carry a bag with her stuff without any problem.

As to metamagic, probably go for Masking or Flexible Signature first.

Unarmed is always going to be less accurate than Blades without letting Hardliners be a Weapon Focus. As is, you have about the same in Unarmed as Steelshine has with his Ceramic Knives.

I don't know if I was being paranoid with my licenses or if Chummer is just limited in what you can buy a license for. Going to plow through and try to get a 1000 karma build posted tonight. Have already upgraded Reaction Enhancers to R2 and added R2 Muscle Toner, just FYI.

Chummer just uses the most conservative interpretation of licenses where one has to buy one for all the items they have that have "R" in their availability. I went ahead and bought them like that, though normally I prefer to go more generalized like "Weapon Permit" for all the weapons and such.

A note on the weapons: the Predator is intended to be her holdout, loaded into the cyberarm slide. The Scorpion is her mainstay, most likely to be used on runs. The taser is quite simply something she doesn't leave home without. The Ares Alpha is a vanity piece, hung on a wall on her apartment.

Strongly considering grabbing an identical Black Scorpion. How effective is dual-wielding machine pistols (with or without Ambidextrous as a quality)? Splitting the dice pool sounds confusing to a newb like me... is it worth it?

Also, RHat... good call on the qualities. I'll look for some suitable/interesting ones later.

Click the 'print' button and select Text Only from the drop-down in the window that comes up, and then click the 'Save as HTML' button.

Note that you should also go into the modification rules in Arsenal to make your weapons better.  More RC, and if you really want to be able to rain lead on people the High Velocity modification is a nice choice for your primary weapon (for the Alpha, perhaps HV, Foregrip+Sling, Personalized Grip, Underbarrel Weight, and Gas Vent 3 as an accessory, which puts you at RC9).  Reflex Recorder and Suprathyroid Gland could be effective for you...

I enjoy the weapon mod rules.  Does it show?

If Wolf is ok with that idea (which I am inclined to be) having a license that encompasses an entire type of item (guns, vehicles, armor, etc). At least at the R level, (not sure if we want to do F level licenses at all)

Yeah, it really depends on how he wants to handle licencing rules - there's a lot of ways to do it.

Only problem with the Suprathyroid Gland is that for some reason they set its availability at 20F so Restricted Gear is necessary to get it. Never made any sense to me that it got HARDER to get that implant between SR3 and SR4...

Which reminds me of what I was forgetting to mention.

Grab some freaking qualities.  There's no reason you shouldn't grab as many negatives as you can (more Karma is, after all, a good thing and it lets you further define the character), and there's a lot to be gained from the positives.

And I gotta say, it really annoys me that Martial Arts takes up Positive Quality budget.  Really want to get Firefight added in here, and I just can't make it fit...

Martial Arts is the only reason I'm at the Positive Quality limit...then again I don't take a lot of PQs that often.
