Suggestions:  Pop your agility up to 6, even if you have to lose a point of Edge to do it.  Rather than 2 Firearms skills at 5, decide on a primary (I'm guessing Automatics) and make that 6, with the other at 4. 
Heh, actually already did this. I'll take another look at the Ingram instead of the machine pistol, and I already dropped the whole ambidextrous thing after actually looking up what that entails rules-wise... which is fine, I did not picture her dual-wielding, anyhow.
One thing I'm seriously thinking about is specializing in pistols instead of automatics. That way I wouldn't have to worry about recoil compensation as much, which would free up points for other things. Thoughts?

Longarms and Pilot Groundcraft sound very good, I'll make room for that. What Matrix skills should I look at? I have to admit I find all the Matrix stuff hopelessly confusing.

Should be a limit of 560 attribute points spent. But it counts magic, resonance, and edge as the points (which may be why it lets you go a tad higher if you haven't put any in those).

As far as guns, I like pistols more than automatics. I'm very fond of the Savalette Guardian. Gives you a burst option if you want it. (my sniper face uses, Barret Model 121 for sniping, heavily modded Savellette Guadian (-5 to conceal) for getting guns into places (not MAD immune though) that needs to be quiet, and my SPAS-22 for loud up close and personal shooting. I think he'll end up using the Saval more than anything else.

Tall and a little lanky. Black skin, white hair, with brown eyes. He looks a lot like Drizz't from AD&D, to be honest. Dresses down all the time, preferring to wear jeans and flannel shirts most of the time. Always has at least 1 phillips-head screwdriver in his back pocket. Most of the time he has a blue rag in his front pocket which he uses to wipe grease off his hands.

Based on Lowell from "Wings". Extremely smart when it comes to mechanics and the matrix; rather clueless when it comes to street smart things and common sense.

Thinking about doing a fear of heights angle with her. I suppose I should also take Incompetence in Aerospace and Flying and stuff, but that seems kind of cheap (how likely are those to come up?)... I will wait for GM feedback on that.

I still have 23 karma and about 20,000 nuyen left, so if you have more suggestions on what to take, I'm definitely listening.

I'd say see if you can manage picking up SINner and Records on File. Those are a pair of good NQs that can give "fleshing out".

For your SMG, try this instead. Take the HK227-X and add on a Gas Vent 3 (sure you'd have to choose whether to use it or the suppressor at any given time, but meh), a Foregrip, Personalized Grip, Thermal Suppressor, Chameleon Coating and Skinlink. This would give you 6 Recoil Comp (enough to completely nullify a Long Burst/Short Burst combo for a pass).

I only have the core book available. For some reason, it looks Chummer is also using only the core rulebook. Is there a setting to change that somewhere?

I'm not sure about SINner or Records on File. I'm not sure how I'd fold that into the character background. Also, not really sure at all whta Records on File does.

I'm just saying one more thing. Since the characters are a team, really having two melee-oriented characters is a good thing. If one sees that the other is 'taking too much aggro' they can move in and take some of the 'heat' off so to speak. For example, as a troll, your's might end up getting targeted first, and if it looks like you might be getting a bit more than you can handle, I can move in and draw off some of those attackers. In other situations, one of us could rush in to try and take opponents down quickly while the other hangs back to defend the rest of the team.

I only have the core book available. For some reason, it looks Chummer is also using only the core rulebook. Is there a setting to change that somewhere?

I'm not sure about SINner or Records on File. I'm not sure how I'd fold that into the character background. Also, not really sure at all whta Records on File does.

Don't have it yet, but I'm planning on The Ancients as a group contact with my 14 free contact points. You think Connection 3 would be enough for them, and what among the group contact fields you guys think would be appropriate for them? (Plan on putting very high Loyalty, but since he doesn't remember the association due to the Amnesia, that could get interesting :))

Updated, and the version I imagine I will begin play with tomorrow, save for any glaring flaws I've missed. Kept to the core rulebook, I'm afraid, if only because I just honestly haven't had the time to track down or read through any other books. Last thing I'm genuinely confused on is what type of skill of the cyber-arm's shock hand would be based off of. Unarmed attacks? Or would I have to pick up an Exotic melee skill?
