I will be away for the Discworld Convention from the 7th of August to the 12th.  While there is WiFi in the hotel and I will try to check every day, it will be very busy and also I will be posting from my telephone.  So don't expect much from me during that period.

And a big cheers from me for head up it's always good to know. I'm actually kind of jealous so make sure you have a good time.

Now back to business...

@ farothel:
Assensing results:
As you view the astral there is nothing of any particular import...

The front of house staff were really tired and bored but completely mundane and had nothing of interest.
During the walk round the private area you passed one patrol of two guard both are mundane with some cyber installed.

Otherwise the palace is totally mundane nothing of any interest on the astral.

@ martinchaen:
Perception:
You pulls out all the camera and sensor positions of the passive security. It's a standard set up and due to the public nature of the place there area lot of cameras. There are the frequent emergency exit that you;d expect as well so many escape routes should something happen.

The guards you walk past visiting the box are better than your standard flat foot but are still rather pathetic and have not real combat effectiveness they are there as a deterrent more than anything else.

Knowledge:
The word on the street for this guy is that he is some corporate heir. The trust fund would be enough enough for most before the exorbitant corporate salary to barely show up at the office. All because daddy works higher up of course.

He's an accomplished dirt driver and has been seen all over town in shows from the dirty side street to big stadiums like tonight. Supposedly he's linked to the Mita-Gumi but there is nothing concrete linking them. A total playboy he's been caught out more than few times.

The weird thing is for someone that has everything made and a life most would kill for he still invests a lot of effort trying to get into the shadows.

@ isane:
Data search results
You have no shortage of data to sift through, I mean your used to looking up people who try to hide stuff about yourself. this seems more like a celebrity, his face is everywhere and not always for the good reason.

There is huge amount of footage and press of his dirt/stunt biking, and too much footage of his 'private' life. He's listed with a corporate SIN that is linked to Mitsuhama, some junior executive and from what you can discover behind the barrage of extraterritorial information blocks he is junior executive working on several large industrial projects.

@ hydroraven:
Knowledge roll
Rush is  a young stunt bike rider, he is very good and is wanted for shows all over. Supposedly he works for some corp and due to family ties is made, which probably explains why the only fee he ever takes for his shows is a luxury suite for the after-party. He's as flamboyant off the dirt as he is on it and is seen to be a playboy around town.

I will try.  I managed it the last 4 times, so there's no reason it won't be fun this time around.

Anyways, assensing specially the stunt rider.
intuition 4 + assensing 4 + owl 2 =10 (10d6.hits(5)=5)
give me his life story I would say (at least that part I can see on the astral)  :)

@ Farothel
Assensing results:

From your view of his aura you can tell he has a mild sense of anxiety about tonight but not regarding the death defying stunts before him in fact those he's loving completely.

He's mundane but has got a reasonable suite of ware that has brought his essence to 3.35
== Cyberware/Bioware ==
Muscle Augmentation
Muscle Toner
Sleep Regulator
Synthacardium
Tailored Pheromones
Wired Reflexes

He's in excellent health in general just some minor bruising.

And I'm back! :)

Yeah, Seijin doesn't have much else to do except listen to the others plan, pick up his gear, and get to it.

indeed, good luck.  And take all the time you need.  A good RL job is more important than a shadow job.  :)

Trying to come up with ideas for getting into the building, remaining off the radar, and getting back out of the building, as well as spot any potential problems like bottlenecks, persistent security surveillance, that kind of stuff.
Knowledge Skill: Security Procedures: 6d6t5 3

[EDIT]
Hey cr4kp0t, did the Johnson ever give any indication as to whether he intends the join the team and follow whatever plan they come up with, or if he has some sort of preference. The one thing I can't wrap my head around as a player is how he can get us passcards without them being linked to him.

In other words, if we go in as maintenance workers, will he join us as one?

Oh, and do we know which floor the server room is on? This could be crucial in terms of "do we take the stairs" or not :)

Just a few theories I would believe: the man had someone in security that owed him a favour and he decided to get some fake passes made up. He also could have swiped a few from people in the locker room. Maybe he contracted another hacker to hack into the mainframe from the outside and create some fake passes, and he's using a different set of runners just so that if the hacker gets somehow discovered the whole operation doesn't get blown.

Not trying to make up anything here, just saying there could be a number of reasons for the client to come up with passes that won't tie him directly with a theft/sabotage.

Good call; he did mention the "friend" who arranged for the night shift the next day to be on the slower side.
