The Fire Spirit won't be Materialized during your IP, nor do I think The Phoenix would know that one's coming down the pipe. 

Hopeless DID mention that someone had a fire spirit on deck back before we split up.

extra simple action will be to call up Sammo.

By RAW it wouldn't, as I'm not asking for a Surprise Test, but by Fluff, I think an incoming Fire Spirit in the Astral would count as an impending threat.  I'll tell you what: roll  INT + MAG (3).  If you hit the threshold, The Phoenix will feel the spirit coming in, and can hold her action.  This also makes sense to me as she's channeling mana at the time.

I think that I may be wrong about  The Phoenix being aware of La Sombre's actions as well, as Mr. Hopeless is providing video feed.  I'm not sure if she'd be checking it at the time, though it is handy to have available.  Probably better to spend a Free Action to ask than suffer the -2 to physical actions from the AR distractions, though.

@SGT, the IC post looks pretty good as is. If you want, I can roll The Phoenix becoming alerted when I handle the Fire Spirit and Salsha in my next IC.  Also, if you want to, you can go ahead and roll your attack once you figure out spirit fighting goodness.  The Fire Spirit will have to spend a Complex Action to Materialize, so it can't take any offensive measures this pass.

Need an IC from Poindexter before we can move forward.  I'll put up something later today, if it hasn't been done already.

The order of attacks that I have are:

CT 2 IP 2
1. The Phoenix Burst Fire: Misses.  The Phoenix is far enough from the crowd that I'm not going to roll for the crowd to see if they get hit.
2. Salsha Astral Combat: Hits with 2 Net Hits.  The Spirit must resist 6P (assuming Salsha is going for P damage).  This damages the Spirit enough that it is -1 to all actions.
CT 2 IP 3
3. The Phoenix Burst Fire: Hits with 2 Net Hit.  The spirit must resist 12P -2AP.  The Fire Spirit has Immunity = Hardened Armor (12), but the AP knocks it down to 10, so this has the chance to damage the spirit.  The Spirit rolls well on Soak, but the burst combined with Salsha's Astral attack knocks it down to -2 for all actions.
4. The Spirit uses Unarmed Combat against The Phoenix, issuing a Charge Attack as it does so.  I need a Defense Test from The Phoenix.  Damage will be 10P -6AP if it lands.  The Phoenix is dealing with an adroit combatant with more speed than strength,but the fire jaguar does a good job with its pounce -- if that tells you anything about how well you need to roll  ;)
5. Salsha Astral Combat: Hits with 1 Net Hit.  The Spirit must resist 5P.  It does so without incurring any additional penalties.

Note that I combine penalties to defense from both Mundane and Astral sources.  I know there's some difference of opinion here, but I think that being attacked on the astral and physical realm at the same time would be incredibly distracting.  That means that the spirit took a -1 to attack 2 and a -2 to attack 3 in addition to the other penalties.

Next up: I need a Dodge and Soak roll from The Phoenix.  You can wait to spend Edge on the Soak roll until you know by how many Net HIts the Spirit has on her -- assuming it does -- but you must spend Edge on the Dodge roll -- assuming you want to -- before you know how many Hits the spirit got.  Make sense?

ETA: @SGT, don't forget that if The Phoenix makes a melee attack against the spirit, and hits, she's got the Energy Aura to deal with -- in this case it's particularly nasty, though your Fire Resistance will help out.  Also, if I ninja'd your IC, feel free to add your description as necessary.  I don't mind editing.
