Okay, I built a sort of face and a legendary driver. He is more rigger/soldier.

I want to modify the cars we get, at least the one for 1#'s team... Add weapon mounts, smuggling space stuff like that.... what model to add?

The cars you have are stolen, top of the range Range Rover. For all 3, use the Rover Model 2072 as base but Spd 5, Accel 3, Armour 15. Assume that the work to prevent someone coming after the cars has been done: you outsourced acquiring the cars.

You have had these vehicle for 2 weeks. Any modifications made in that time have had 1/3 of the time to be made as 2 cars are always 'on the job'. Deckert's car needs great comms so include that in your buy.

DO NOT ABSORB THE COST OF THE CAR IN YOUR CHARACTER BUILD! it is FREEEEEEE!

Okay I do not know what the relationship between the guys, but I am giving my guy a control rig and some amazing driving skills.  If we make sure cars have rigger interfaces and weapon mounts basically you can have him with you if things get really bad.

The cars were stolen by agreement. The team are in an ongoing job and they paid someone to do the job of acquiring and cleaning the cars. They are, to all intents and purposes, your cars on the British mainland.

When you're done with this job, you would likely put them into storage if they are not 'burned' ... in which case you would burn them... (if you see what I mean). So you should feel free to spend some money getting them up and running.

My copy of Chummer has the Rover 2072 under Trucks

There is my rough so far. I think I'm going to take smuggler next. What happens if we cap out all the skills in a catagory?

I like this.. Nice direction. Balance everything else out first and then (and only then) increase the cap on 3 skills and 1 attribute +2 your genetic norms.

This applies to everyone bar #4, #5, #8, #9 (you get 3 skills and 1 attribute +1 your genetic norm) (genetic norms = racial norms)

Also... The team... you's guys... are currently in London. You are aware that your job may be International in execution so you need SINs to cover that. you'll need stuff for Eurozone, the UK and at least UCAS and CAS. Other zones might benefit you. Again - this is all background because... you're all going to die!!!!!   ;D

Mercy, and this is for everyone. I will open the 2 threads today for IC and OOC. I will post last thing on Sunday the introduction and the initial story. I want an OOC thread describing yourselves to the rest. All characters made by that time will for sure be included. Anyone coming later: for example #6 will immediately become NPC as may #3.

Also: You are 3 weeks into the run... And you're bored... and Deckert has you running maneuvers to keep you sharp... Also: Deckert knows more than you and you all know that he plays hard and fast with the rules so if he's keeping a secret then you're unlikely to make him spill. He's always been a good leader, kept you all out of the gutter and you're never very short of money. Deckert does seem to go with more People Extractions but this run is different.

Thanks, will update spreadsheet as I write his backstory. I optimized him a little bit. Made him an adept with augmentation, he is now very charismatic. He can push to 20 dice for con with all modifications in place.

Guys, all deckert drones - are actually bikes and I put the SUV in his sheet. I managed to upgrade it due to good roll of starting funds - but if there is anything else we need just let me know. I gave him 4 bikes, that you can use during the run. The beneift is that if you have to fight and Deckert is not very far away, he can help you. First he is very fast in initiative, then he has 19 dice for driving remotely, and 20 dice for shooting remotely - so if you have troubles it is often helpful if you were on his bike to begin with. The bikes are well armed with weapon mounts.  I find bike drones a lot more cooler than actual drones as you can drive them and and in case of troubles Deckert has your back.

I'll appreciate if anyone is buying vehicles if you can make sure that they are armed - so in case you need help Deckert or the 'Rigger' or anyone with gunnery can help you.

Just so you know - anything driving around London with Panther autocannons visible is going to get tased and then chewed up, spit out and, if you're lucky, they will take out your remains before they crush the car. All weapons require licenses in the UK

Bah...  I'll think about some other character concept then.  Without any mechanical way to hide weapons on vehicles/drones Rigger is not very much playable.

Weapons are often seen. Usually they are discrete and Range Rovers will have hidden compartments. The way the police in London are that, if the car looks like it would be armed then it should be armed. Royalty, princes, dukes etc will be chauffeured around and 3 car convoys are not infrequent.

Armed drones are frowned on but there is a lot of air traffic around the city and bike messengers have evolved so that riderless bikes are actually pretty common... Imagine bike messengers who can simultaneously ride 5 bikes????

Please don't change the concept - I like it - just invest more in retractable weapon mounts (if they do not exist in a source book then just add some money to the cost... starting the bidding at 50% extra)
