On Run & Gun page 73 Bull and /dev/grrl are having a dialogue on Jackpoint.

"No, I mean commlink. I keep my ‘deck in my new bag. See? <PIC_LINK>" - /dev/grrl

"A pink cyberdeck holster with unicorns and sparkles? Kill me now." - Bull

Then if you take a look at Data Trails page 73 there is a female in dim lighting who is carrying a cyberdeck holstered by a case with a unicorn and sparkles. The very cool thing is that you can see most of her body but not her face! I thought this was really rewarding to find because I've always had great interest in her.
Show me your wallet and I'll show you a man with 20 fingers.

Guess someone's got a thing for schoolgirls!

Run Faster p.131

But I think you mean p. 63

You should have seen teh back and forth over Grimmy teh Grimoire. :D

There're some neat things sprinkled here and there, some of which has payoff, some of which doesn't, and some of which is just neat. I *need* to get off my arse one day off and try to compile info on the new JackPointers (And remind teh writers about which ones are dead ... a couple of us keep using corpses to post, an dthat's no good!) ... Hrm. Gives me an idea. Hmm...

No, you are not bringing the late good Captain back as an CFD personality, cool as that might be.
Do you believe in a greater WIRELESS, an Invisible(WiFi) All Seeing(detecting those connected- at least if within 100'), All Knowing(all online data) Presence that we can draw upon for Wisdom(downloads & updates), Strength (wifi boni) and Comfort (porn) or do you turn your back on it  (Go Offline)?

Wasn't CC established to be an E-ghost at the end of System Failure, apparently thanks to the Jack_Be_Nimble program? If he got himself fully 'all there' again I couldn't see him not jumping back into the mix!

Cap's current status is "Dead ... but nobody's found teh body". The E-Ghost known as The Captain is out there, and some of JackPoint has sniffed around, but what connection, if any, there is to CC and Jack-B-Nimble is, as of yet, unknown.

I'm half-tempted to run a mini-contest on here, to have everybody that isn't a writer datadump everything they know about the current JackPoint crew. I'm curious what you know that we've hinted at, what you DON'T know, and what you guys have figured out but that some of us have missed by not reading every single inch of copy several times. No idea what kind of prize I could give out, but, it'd be *very* interesting to get all of that info together in one thread.

Not gonna lie, having even a rudimentary "Who's who" on Jackpoint would be fantastic.  At least a semi-comprehensive list of who the active posters are.  I don't do a lot of fic reading so there are definitely some posters who have seemingly popped out of nowhere for me (re: Balladeer etc)

That's one of the reasons I started thinking about it. I've been close to asking upstairs to put together a JackPoint PDF, with user icons, info, and so on. Doubt it'd sell, but, by golly, *I'd* read it. :)

A lot of the regular JackPointers got profiled in the Street Legends sourcebook and the Street Legends Supplemental PDF, not to mention the Ten JackPointers PDF. Well worth reading if you like that sort of thing.

Got 'em all, but there's always new stuff to keep track of and several that haven't been profiled.

And as noted, we're seeing several new JackPoint members join as some older ones retire or die off. Might be time to get to know a few of 'em...

I think one of our players once had a pdf "Jackpoint Character List". I'll ask.

The daughter of the Seattle Yakuza Boss supposedly yanked all kinds of data before returning to her father.  A flavor book detailing Jackpointers from her perspective would be pretty good.  It could also get rolled into a cash grab sourcebook for syndicates or something, if publishing costs demanded it.

Sounds like it might make a better PDF product then a print one but I would buy it .
