As Cal exits the door, he sees a largish roto-drone ahead.  IT has a large weapon aimed at him :-/

The F-B Bumblebee is a combat drone.  They aren't super hardy, but they can deliver effective fire.

You can keep that roll, or you can respond to the drone (find cover is a simple action, you could even still try to shoot at something... unless you go FULL cover, then you can try to raise your gun around and shoot at -3 to your dice pool (since you are smart linked).  Machine guns are nasty business.

So I have several options on my next action.

1) I could try to find the decker who is protecting his team. How I will do this I'm not sure beyond the "Matrix/AR perception test" to his ICON - which is hidden.

2) Or I could add noise to the area with my deck up to 100 meters, which might hinder they're cyber support.

3) I could attack the detectives datastores and hope to find something, and maybe the enemy decker if they have the same idea.

I am thinking that jamming would help, but only if the action is still within 100m of my location, which I think it is. its not a guarantee that it will switch the drone to auto pilot or drop it, but....

Have you considered trying to take over that drone?  If you were able to do that it would gain us an ally while simultaneously removing an enemy, which is some game changing stuff.

I recommended marking their car in IC but controlling the drone is probably better.  Even if the rigger takes it down to avoid that, it will help even the odds.
