@Haywyire if you rather have the sensor array in your hand, just roll (Hardware + Logic)[Mental](2, 1h) - noted that you also owe a Perception + Intuition[Sensor] (unrelated to the sensor assembling, just to see if you spot something).
Johannes appears almost immediately in one of the AR screen of Waywalker:
"Guten Morgen, Herr Waywalker. The night has been long as I can see." - Johannes seems also to refer to his own night. "I hope your team is alright. I was hoping to get a little update on your side. But before doing so, let me share what information I have gathered since last we spoke. Some sources confirmed to me that a small corporate outfit from Renault-Fiat, which I strongly suspect to be the original owner of the prototype, is currently being deployed in Nancy. I'm not sure if they have an exact location, but apparently the are going in the SOX. My contact could not tell me more, but it seems they suspect Bernie to have hidden in the ruins of Metz. I hope you are getting close to the prototype, and will secure it before them, because what we are talking here is a dozen corporate soldier, with tactical network, heavy armor and heavy weaponry. Not just a bunch of other runner. Also, Renault-Fiat has the support of France Energie and some other French corporation - so they may even have MET2000 in their pocket. I expect their outfit to cross the gate of the SOX around Nancy in matters of hours..."
For once, Johannes is not making a dramatic pause, but stop to have a sip of coffee, before going on:
"On our side of the Rhine, things are not looking brighter. I've looked at the mess you ran into, earlier, at the Nurosa. For what I've gathered the goons you meet there where sent by Horizon. Apparently, the megacorporation has a rather unexplained interest in this all business - however, for what I've gathered, they have lost your trail, and are desperately trying to learn both your whereabouts or the one from Bernie, but, as far as I know, they are quite far away from the SOX, still investigating in RRMP."
"However, the runner who attacked you at the club - who also enlisted a bunch of gangers to search the club for Trixie, have recovered from your assault, and are back on the job. One of my sources is rather well-informed about them. They have a a pretty decent decker, called BufferBlast, a rigger nicknamed Flat Tire - strangely enough, and they just recruited a merc mange named Bakari. A black woman from Nigeria, fully trained by Dassault to be a combat support mage - oh, by the way, she is also training in demolition. She is also quite good at healing magic - I've heard they called her in to heal Flat Tire. My source told me they left RRMP a few hours ago, to follow a lead in Zweibrücken. If you are indeed in Zweibrücken as I suspect, I'm afraid they might be right behind you. Oh, and those runners are working for Saeder-Krupp Eurocard"
"And of course, to make things worse, sources inside Saeder Krupp tells me that SK Prime got their hand on Trixie, and may be aware of the backstabbing happening between Volskwagen and Eurocard. SK Prime is an elite unit inside SK, very loyal to Lowfyr. They are certainly going to frown upon such internal and fruitless in-fighting and might step in to do... Well, something unexpected at this point. If this is the case, we might be all in great danger, because we just moved from 'deniable assert' to 'compromising ones'. I don't expect my direct contact in Volkswagen to betray us, but I can't vouch for his entire hierarchy. And again, at this stage, SK Prime involvement is unconfirmed."
"So... What is the situation on your side ?
While Johannes was giving Waywalker an update, a message arrived from his rigger contact:
Yeah, I got a bunched actually, nothing pristine, neither high hand, however.
Along with a bunch of pictures from a set of anthropomorphic drone.
@Haywire: not sure you are familiar with AI rules, but not all AI can fits in any device. The biggest/powerful the AI generally requires high rating Device Rating. Also, AI with some quality requires specific devices - like a cyberdeck or vehicle/drone.
Regarding the drone itself, just the availability test against the one you want, and if you win, he has it. Note: don't roll the availability, just buys hits to set a threshold.
