Actually all the translations are quite good. The book deals with Bauto after the events of GITS 2. and concerns that he might be undergoing personality fragmentation and dissasociation like the Major, who is now Something Else, and part of his lifeline really is his dog that helps keep him sane.I'll have to go back and read it again for a better synopsys. Also the three GITS Novels were pretty good too.

Even with removing half the material, the audiobook is one of the best ever. Henry Rollins as T Sean Collins and Eamonn Walker as PAul Redeker still give me chills.

Haven't heard anything about it in like a year, though.
I've also been reading the 'Airship Pirates' RPG book. Good stuff too.
