That's just for fun, but really, as a face you are mostly dependent on your team, hell I am too, and my char could be able to do his share of combat if needed.
p.s. up there being [IC], Sam would defiantly pull a stunt like that if it would help a chummer stay alive.

as for free karma, there won't be any - the TR 1 was way to easy in terms of rolls.
But I've decided to double the karma awards after each mission. They're taking long enough, and I don't think that after playing this character for four month you felt any real advancement.

but the negation is at the end of the talking, and we haven't even disused what his interests are or what else we could do, some special tasks or something else.

only if he is making an ultimatum would this be the case, so is he? is it - take it or leave it even we discussed it further?

I was going to ask about the job, some specific tasks as a demolition expert that could peak his interest.

Thinking logicically here, not sure when the rules state the roll should be.

Depends - to speed up, I ususally put the price in the first post, since I also wait for all of the players to voice themselves (so I have at least on eIC post per player) that unfortunatelly leads to each of them voicing interest after giving the value, which in turn reduce the negotiation position of the face.

I've presented the modifiers. They're subject to change - if you start shooting at him now, they'll probably change.

The ultimatum he state was - are you into the demolition campaign for 35 kNY.
if you don't do demolition or you don't work for circa 8 grants per person, you leave. if you do work, than this sets the base for negotiation.

We could do it without dices at all and base upon IC posts, I'd even preferred this. but this is usually one of the not so many occassions for some dicerolling for the face, so I don't want to take it. and based upon IC posts there might be some additional modifiers - show some expertise in the subject, throw in negotiations improving spells or present yourself as incoherent group it will al have the reflect on the modifiers.
