not to pile on, but LeighFox is right.  Even today, the Japanese rail system is on time to the near second.  They consider being a minute off as being late.  So I think it's safe to assume they'll be on schedule.

Meanwhile here in Calgary, if a train is on-time its a miracle

It's not so much if they are on time or not that I'm looking for.  It's hard to explain via the written word.

I want to see the frequency of the trains and the direction that they come from, and how often the train that hit Kusbana-san comes into this particular station.  I know - I could look up the schedule and check it out.  But there are things you could see when the train comes in that you can't when you are looking at the schedule.  Like the direction, where the doors open up in relation to the station, if there are obstructed views, etc.

Maybe my post needs to be updated...

Leigh Fox is right on the money...  The trains are within a few seconds of within their scheduled times.  I'll update the IC with more details regarding your other questions sometime this afternoon.  I'm stuck in yardwork hell this weekend.

PS Leigh Fox, You live in Calgary?  Me too.  What part?

Yeah, my original post wasn't worded the best, and that's on me.

So the next IC post is up.  Hopefully everything makes sense.  Am I right in assuming that no one is going to try and hack security system?

I don't think any of us CAN try to hack the security system.

That seems to be correct; we lack a hacker and a mage.

Perhaps some social engineering will help us bypass the guards - at least long enough to get more detailed information about the accident. It worked for Mitnick, and it can work for us.  :)

We are gonna be an interesting group of runners, trying to get by without a hacker.  A mage we can live without for the most part.  But a hacker?  We might need to hire one out.

Either that, or we'll need to start supporting one PC to improve on their hacking skills and gear. Hacking is very much a 'pay to play' archetype.

Considering you were the only one intelligent enough to purchase a software suite for one of your commlinks...I vote for you.  Heck, I'll even throw in a portion of whatever creds I earn to help pay for programs for you (because it will help ALL of us in the long run).

Worst case scenario, Id be willing to drop Beth to create a hacker character. Dont get me wrong, I like Beth! I do see some areas where I could have improved in chargen, and a hacker can be useful ;)

Mr Gm Sir - I posted a revamped character sheet for Beth, one that is way easier to read and obtain all necessary info.

Cool.  Looks good.  So I'm right in assuming that your next move is that Kozak is going to go and try to convince the security guards to release the footage?

Might as well give it a shot.  I don't think any of us can hack computers.
